In everybody's life there is something, a past event, we want to forget. Well, you're not alone.
Rurouni Kenshin (Kenshin Wanderer) is the main character of the anime with the same title. The main character finds himself (or maybe has problems finding himself;) in the Meiji era in Japan soon after the shogunate has fallen, after the war known as Bakumatsu.
During the war, Himura Kenshin has "earned" a nickname Hitokiri (manslayer) Battousai (a person skilled at 'battoujutsu' which was a quick sword drawing technique). After the war ended, to redeem his deeds Kenshin promised not to kill anyone anymore. One of the means to keep his promise, he decided to use the blunt side of his sword only, in case of danger. Kenshin will meet many characters on his way. Some will become his friends and some were his enemies from the time of Bakumutsu. Will he be able to keep his promise, even when his friends will be in danger. You need to check for yourself.
One of the characters Kenshin will have to cross his sword with is Hajime Saito (some of you might have heard the name from the new Ryu ga Gotoku: Ishin game). Saito was Kenshin's war time rival and a member of the elite shogunate protecting group called Shinsengumi..
