One of the arcade examples I used to play was Nekketsu Soccer. Maybe the shots were not so showy, but funny at least..
Some of us might still remember the times when 'power shots' were quite common in the world of binary soccer. It wasn't anything out of ordinary. Actually, there were quite a few games that allowed you to demolish your opponent's defensive formation and send the keeper flying into the net at speed of light. Pure arcade! :) Nowadays, soccer games are 'cooked' in a way to offer the best and the most immersive experience for soccer fans. I lame at soccer and need more Fifa or Pro Evo practice if I want to keep up with the trends.

In everybody's life there is something, a past event, we want to forget. Well, you're not alone. Rurouni Kenshin (Kenshin Wanderer) is the main character of the anime with the same title. The main character finds himself (or maybe has problems finding himself;) in the Meiji era in Japan soon after the shogunate has fallen, after the war known as Bakumatsu.
I guess most of us heard of 'Shingeki no Kyoujin' or 'Attack on Titan', an anime in which mankind faces a life threat from giants/titans. I am also really into it and interested to see how Eren, Mikasa and Armin will shape their future. A director Shinji Higuchi is working on a cinema version of the anime, which is undoubtedly a huge 'YES!!' from all fans of the original anime and manga. It is scheduled for 2015. But that is not all. At the beginning of April, one of Kawasaki's department stores - Lazona, hosted a 3-day event for 'Attack on Titan' fans. It featured appearance of the most recognizable 'human-eater' through the use of projection mapping on one of the buildings. Picture: Lazona Department Store
I've never expected that an Internet Explorer or a Safari game could compete with Sony's, Microsoft's or Nintendo's game consoles. The damsel in distress is a browser game called Kantai Collection (KanColle), that currently is available only on Japanese market..
A video promoting the new game with Hatsune Miku - Project Diva F 2nd.
The game was released on March 27, 2014 in Japan, and so far has been selling very well for both PS3 and Vita. Here is a TV spot that features some of Miku's fans dancing, including a popular cosplay idol - Alodia. One of the interesting features is the fact that you actually need to dance and move to control the game. I loved the spot. Enjoy:) A treat for all fans of Adam and Sarif corporation!
An amateur movie based on realia from Deus Ex: Human Revolution has been released. Hats off my friends! This should be made into a big screen production! Pity we see so few game licenses put to a good use like this one. It makes me want to reboot and check my augmentations! Check it out after the jump! I would like to share with you a few photos and a video from this year’s Tokyo Game Show in that was held in Makuhari Messe, Japan. After last year’s show (TGS’12) my expectations were not super high, as I was on the way to the venue. TGS 2012 was mostly aimed at mobile gaming which, personally, is not my pair of shoes. What is worth mentioning is the large amount of people moving toward the exhibition halls from the station. Nevertheless, the atmosphere was very good and friendly. Something I could hardly believe at first! After a 10-minute walk from the station, I reached a checkpoint where you need to show your belongings to a staff member/security. Then it is time to wave your tickets at the staff members and we are in..
I've awaited this event for some time and when it finally 'arrived' on 22 and 23 of March, anime fans in Japan and around the world had their little celebration. All because of long waited Anime Japan 2014 (formerly known as Tokyo International Anime Fair). The event took place in he halls of Tokyo's Big Sight. I think it's good the name has been changed as it sounds much better now.
Many people find Japanese TV boring, silly or even annoying. The first time I saw a Japanese commercial (CM) was quite a culture shock. There is much more "action" and spontaneity in Japanese CM. The amusing factor makes it less annoying experience if you have to watch them slicing your favorite show or drama into pieces. Yup! You do see them often in TV, even much more then on Polish TV. However, the latter can rarely surprise you! Check the video below a portion of adverts:)
