Some of us might still remember the times when 'power shots' were quite common in the world of binary soccer. It wasn't anything out of ordinary. Actually, there were quite a few games that allowed you to demolish your opponent's defensive formation and send the keeper flying into the net at speed of light. Pure arcade! :) Nowadays, soccer games are 'cooked' in a way to offer the best and the most immersive experience for soccer fans. I lame at soccer and need more Fifa or Pro Evo practice if I want to keep up with the trends.
One of the arcade examples I used to play was Nekketsu Soccer. Maybe the shots were not so showy, but funny at least..

Somewhat the legend of soccer will always be Captain Tsubasa who you might remember from the anime series, manga or SNES game. The secret of Tsubasa and his team were unique techniques that they used to execute super powerful shots.
Some of the J-League (Japanese soccer league) players decided to reenact the shots we used to read about in the manga. The project is called 'Captain Tsubasa Dream Project 2014.'
So far there are 3 special techniques prepared by the Japanese players.
Hantoushusokujinhou:) Shot
The shot is executed by two players standing in opposite directions. Then one of them hits the ball, which hits the foot/leg of the other player and gaining power, heads towards the goal.

Twin Shot
Two players hit the ball with their feet at the same time and in the same direction.
Twin Shot starts from 2:20..
Kamisori Shot
A shot a'la Roberto Carlos. Now we know what RC was reading between the matches.
